“This is an evolutionary development.” Alexander Lukashenko at the All-Russian People’s Assembly on a new stage in the country’s political life

In his speech at the VII All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko called the new stage in the country’s political life an evolutionary development.

“This is a truly historic day in Belarus. Those who have not understood this will understand it with time. For the first time in its constitutional status, the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly of the seventh convocation begins its work. For the first time, the President’s Address, which, according to our Constitution, the Head of State must address the people and Parliament once a year, will be announced during a national forum, which will already become an annual tradition,” the President said.

He noted that in his speech he deliberately left out issues of the development of the real sector of the economy, since all these topics were discussed in detail at recent meetings, which were widely covered, and the corresponding instructions were given and are subject to implementation.

“Today’s event actually divides the history of the country’s political life into before and after. And this is an evolutionary movement and development,” the Head of State said.
