
We inform you that we are continuing to accept applications for participation in the Second International Climate Competition “Green Eurasia”.
The Green Eurasia competition was established by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects jointly with the Eurasian Economic Commission in order to identify and popularize effective practices in climate mitigation and adaptation, technological leaders of the “green agenda” aimed at the sustainable development of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter referred to as the EAEU).
Commercial organizations, government agencies, authorities, local governments, non-profit organizations and associations, and individuals from the EAEU member states may take part in the competition.
Participation in the competition is free of charge; applications will be accepted until March 31, 2024 in the following nominations:
- State climate policies and practices;
- Climate finance;
- Low carbon energy;
- Green transport;
- Sustainable land use, forestry and water management;
- Low carbon industry;
- Green building;
- Management of climate-active substances;
- Low carbon circular economy;
- Monitoring and forecasting climate change;
- Climate resilient infrastructure;
- Climate Resilient Cities;
- Agriculture and forestry in new climatic conditions;
- Water resources in new climatic conditions;
- Climate awareness and education.
Based on the results of the work of the Expert Group and the Presidium of the competition, the winner (1st place) and finalists (2nd and 3rd places) will be determined in each nomination.
