The main goal of the campaign is to attract public attention to the problem of air pollution by emissions of pollutants from motor vehicles, as well as to popularize the use of environmentally friendly means of personal mobility or public transport.
In the regional cities of Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev and Minsk, concert programs were held for everyone.
Mass races using ecological means of personal mobility took place in Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev, Minsk, Zaslavl, and Novopolotsk.
There were many activity zones and various locations in the cities, where everyone could take part in competitions on environmental topics, learn to drive personal mobility vehicles or repair them for free, visit an electric transport exhibition, buy goods with the prefix “eco-“, etc.
On September 22, a charging station for electric vehicles and a youth environmental education trail were also opened in Gomel.
In total, more than 20,000 people took part in the main events of the republican campaign “Car-Free Day” on September 22, including:

We hope that the positive results of the campaign will become another incentive to introduce environmental habits into your daily life!
