Today, a seminar was held at the Republican Center for State Environmental Expertise, Training, Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel for employees of regional (Minsk City) Committees for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment responsible for labor protection and fire safety issues.
The main goal of the seminar is to provide information on ensuring the safety and health of workers in the workplace, preventing cases of industrial injuries, and compliance with fire safety regulations.
The seminar was opened with a welcoming speech by Denis Eduardovich Petrashevich, a representative of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, who noted the importance of the event.
The speakers at the seminar were:
- Sentyabrsky Valery Igorevich, occupational safety engineer at the Republican Center for Analytical Control in the Field of Environmental Protection, on the topic “Tasks and functions of the organization’s occupational safety service. Topical issues regarding the implementation of labor protection legislation requirements”,
- Olga Vyacheslavovna Rossolova, consultant of the Department of State Inspection of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus, with the topic "Employer's Responsibilities to Ensure Labor Safety",
- Dementey Pavel Anatolyevich, chief technical labor inspector of the Belarusian Trade Union of Forestry and Nature Management Workers, on the topic "Implementation of public control over compliance with labor protection legislation in organizations",
- Alexander Stepanovich Rabushko, leading labor protection engineer of the Republican Center for State Environmental Expertise, Training, Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel of the Ministry of Natural Resources, with the topic "Responsibilities of Managers and Other Officials of Organizations in the Field of Ensuring Fire Safety."
During the seminar, participants were able to receive clarification on issues of interest to them concerning the field of labor protection and fire safety.
