Today, the Center hosted a round table on the topic “Areas of cooperation between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Ecological Society, the Public Chamber of the Ryazan Region: results and prospects”.
The event was organized in continuation of cooperation within the framework of the signed Protocols of Intent on cooperation in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources between the Center and the All-Russian Public Organization for the Protection and Protection of Natural Resources “Russian Ecological Society”, as well as the Public Chamber of the Ryazan region.
Alexander Bulak, Director of the Center, and Violetta Chernaya, expert of the Association of Domestic and Inbound Tourism and the Russian Ecological Society, Chairman of the Commission on Ecology, Environmental Protection and Nature Management of the Public Chamber of the Ryazan Region, addressed the participants of the round table with a welcoming speech.
During the meeting, Violetta Chernaya presented a report on the topic “On the results of the work of the Commission on Ecology, Environmental Protection and Nature Management of the Public Chamber of the Ryazan Region and the Russian Ecological Society in 2023.”
Tatyana Tomina, Director of the Expert Department of the Russian Ecological Society, environmental auditor, lawyer, Deputy General Director of the National Center for Environmental Reform Competencies, presented a report on the topic “On the activities of the expert Department of the Russian Ecological Society”.
Inna Zekeeva, Head of the Department for Ecology, Trade and Municipal Control of the administration of the resort city of Yessentuki, shared information about plans for the development of environmental education in the Caucasian Mineral Waters region.
Alexey Tishkovets, Director of the Polessky State Radiation and Environmental Reserve State Environmental Protection Research Institution, and Maxim Kudin, his Deputy for Science, introduced colleagues to the prospects for the development of their institution.
Anatoly Silchenko, director of the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Central Research Institute for Integrated Use of Water Resources”, spoke about the main activities of the headed enterprise in the scientific and technical field.
The participants of the round table exchanged views on the most pressing issues, summed up the results of cooperation over the past period, and also outlined aspects of further cooperation.
The parties reached an agreement on deepening cooperation in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources.
