Sergey Maslyak makes a working trip to Brest region

On October 30, 2024, the working visit of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Maslyak to the Brest region began.
Within 3 days, participation in the following events is planned:
On October 30, the head of the environmental protection agency took part in a meeting of the Brest Regional Executive Committee. The meeting was also attended by Mikhail Rusy, Chairman of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on Legislation and State Building, and Stanislav Narkevich, Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee.
Three issues were considered at the meeting:
In the context of the first question, the Minister drew attention to the need for government agencies to comprehensively review incoming requests from citizens, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, as well as to conduct an ongoing analysis of the effectiveness of this work.
Sergey Maslyak also drew attention to the need for a constant expansion of the list of administrative procedures, the acceptance of applications and the issuance of decisions on which will be carried out through the “single window” service. Thanks to the use of this service, to carry out administrative procedures, it is only necessary to submit an application, including in electronic form, which allows reducing the number of visits to the service by citizens to one time – to receive the final document.
During the discussion of the effectiveness of measures taken to combat illegal drug trafficking, the Minister emphasized the need to find and apply new methods of prevention through the involvement of young people in social and sports life.
