On July 4, 2024, Deputy Minister of Defense for Logistics – Chief of Logistics of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, Major General Andrei Burdyko presented the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Maslyak with the jubilee medal “80 Years of the Liberation of Belarus from the Nazi Invaders.”
The medal was approved by the Decree of the Head of State dated February 29, 2024 No. 75 “On the Establishment of the Jubilee Medal”.
On the front side is a figure of a private of the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army in summer uniform with a Shpagin submachine gun in his hands, to the right is a figure of a partisan with a Degtyarev light machine gun. To the right of the figures are the years “1944” and “2024” one under the other, above is an image of a salute. At the bottom is the Order of the Patriotic War in gold color, located on a wreath of oak leaves.
On the reverse side of the medal is the inscription “80 years of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders”, around which is a laurel half-wreath, entwined with a ribbon, and on it is a five-pointed golden star.
