From October 30 to November 11, 2024, the Department of Energy Efficiency is holding a republican information and educational campaign “Belarus – an energy-efficient country“. It is timed to coincide with the International Energy Saving Day (November 11).
The purpose of the campaign is to raise public awareness of the importance of efficient use of energy resources, possible ways and methods of saving them, including in everyday life and at home, which is a significant measure in improving the well-being of citizens and the economic growth of the country as a whole.
For the International Day of Energy Saving, the Department of Energy Efficiency is organizing a whole range of thematic events:
- round tables, training seminars – for specialists;
- open lessons and information hours, intellectual games, competitions and quizzes – for children and young people;
- mini-competitions – for subscribers on social networks;
- hotlines – to answer the most pressing questions from citizens and organizations;
- press events – for representatives of the media.
Information materials on the relevant topic are posted on the website of the Department of Energy Efficiency in the section “Popularly about energy saving/Useful tips”, as well as on the official YouTube channel of the Department – social videos on energy saving.
