Republican cleanup day to be held in Belarus on April 20

The national clean-up day will be held in Belarus on April 20. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko.

The money earned on the day of the clean-up day, including at work, will go to:

  • 35% — to the Gomel Regional Executive Committee for the reconstruction of the memorial complex “To Children – Victims of War” in the settlement of Krasny Bereg, Zhlobin District;
  • 35% — to the Brest Regional Executive Committee for the creation of a republican center for patriotic education of youth based on the Kobrin fortification of the Brest Fortress;
  • 30% — for the reconstruction and restoration of memorial complexes, places of military and military glory located in the regions and Minsk.

The system of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection will traditionally take an active part in the republican clean-up day, including within the framework of the environmental campaign to clean up the land, improve and plant trees “Together for a Green Belarus!”, announced by the environmental protection agency in the spring of this year.
