Due to the established class III fire hazard in weather conditions, today in all regions of Belarus restrictions on visiting forests have been introduced.
In preparation for the fire-hazardous period, on March 29 of this year, the Polesie State Radiation and Ecological Reserve simultaneously conducted exercises in all areas – Braginsky, Narovlyansky and Khoyniki – to extinguish simulated fires in the forest fund.
As a result of extinguishing, practical training of tactics and techniques for extinguishing fires was conducted. 22 units of equipment and 82 personnel were involved in the training.
