Press conference on the topic: “Patriotic education through environmental education and enlightenment”, dedicated to the Day of Environmental Education (May 12), will be held on May 16 at 15.00 in the Press Center of the Press House.
The speakers will talk about the relationship between man and nature, as well as the importance of preserving biodiversity and ecosystems for the well-being of the Republic of Belarus.
The system of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection will be presented at the event:
Tatyana KONONCHUK, Head of the Main Department of Environmental Policy, International Cooperation and Science of the Ministry of Natural Resources;
Dmitry MELNICHENKO, Deputy Director for Educational and Scientific Work of the State Educational Institution “Republican Center for State Environmental Expertise, Training, Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel” of the Ministry of Natural Resources;
Ruslan SHAIKIN, Director of the Center for Environmental Education and Development, public ecologist of the Minsk City Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.
Representatives of the NGO “Republican Center for Ecology and Local Lore” and the NGO “Belarusian Republican Youth Union” will also take part in the press conference.
