The exhibition presents many beautiful works by the master of handicrafts – Yanina Petukhova – a person with a big heart and an open soul. That is why all her works are permeated with deep and real feelings: love, tenderness, sincerity and warmth.
The subjects of the works are very diverse: landscapes, portraits, still lifes, but they all have one thing in common – they were created by a kind and bright person. Each picture will find a lively response in the hearts of the exhibition visitors, giving positive emotions.
Petukhova Yanina Sergeevna - "Girl with a Twist"
Born in the village of Gurki, Gorodok district, Vitebsk region. In 2012, she graduated from high school. In recent years, she was homeschooled due to illness.
Interest in embroidery appeared in October 2010, actively began to embroider in 2012 – when she stopped walking. She embroiders almost every day for 11 years. Actively participates in social networks in various games, marathons, competitions related to embroidery. Learned to crochet and knit using video tutorials. Knits clothes for premature babies in Vitebsk, Minsk and Brest.
She loves reading fantasy, detective stories, and modern novels. She is into postcrossing. She talks about her hobby and life on Instagram, Telegram, and her YouTube channel. Thanks to this activity, she has found many like-minded people from different corners of the globe.
Yanina believes that modern embroidery is an accessible fashionable hobby in which everyone can find something for themselves. For her personally, embroidery has become a support in difficult times, a means of self-expression and an open door to another world – the world of Creation!
