On November 22, 2024, a Round Table on the exchange of experience in the field of waste management, including secondary material resources, and the functioning of extended producer responsibility in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation was held in Minsk at the premises of Belresursy OJSC.
The round table was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the two countries, the state institution “Operator of Secondary Material Resources”, the Federal State Budgetary Institution “All-Russian Research Institute of Ecology”, the UP “Minskzelenstroy”, the state association “Minsk City Housing”, OJSC “Belresursy” – the management company of the holding “Belresursy”.
First Deputy Minister Alexander Korbut delivered a report on “Management of Industrial Waste in the Republic of Belarus.”

- National Strategy for the Management of Municipal Solid Waste and Secondary Material Resources in the Republic of Belarus, the functioning of extended producer responsibility in the Republic of Belarus,
- Prospects for harmonizing the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus in the field of waste management,
- Organization of a line for composting organic waste generated during maintenance work on public works facilities,
- On the organization of work in the field of waste management and the use of secondary material resources in the city of Minsk and others.
