During the state visit, Sergey Maslyak met with the leadership of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia

The state visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to Mongolia is taking place from 1 to 4 June this year.

Official talks with the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, will be held on June 3 in Ulaanbaatar in a narrow and expanded format.

It is planned to discuss promising areas of cooperation to maximize the potential of Belarusian-Mongolian relations

Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Maslyak is among the members of the state delegation on a visit to Mongolia.

Today, the head of the Belarusian Environmental Protection Agency held meetings with the leadership of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia – Minister B.Bat-Erdene and his deputy M.Ganbaatar.

The negotiations were also attended by the head of the Forestry Department of the State Executive Agency B.Oyunsanaa and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Belarus B.Bayarsaikhan.

During the meetings, issues of cooperation between the environmental protection agencies of Belarus and Mongolia were discussed. Both ministers noted their interest in exchanging experience in such areas as the “green” economy, maximizing the use of waste through their involvement in economic turnover, conservation of landscape and biological diversity, exploration and mining, and others.

Sergey Maslyak thanked Minister B. Bat-Erdene for his hospitality and invited him to visit Belarus to further strengthen cooperation between the countries.
