Today, a meeting was held between the First Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Korbut and the Minister of Nature Management and Ecology of the Republic of Bashkortostan of the Russian Federation Niyaz Fazylov.
During the talks, the participants exchanged information on approaches to implementing policies in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources, and also identified promising areas of cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to the development of cooperation in the field of waste management, including waste of hazard classes 1 and 2, solid municipal waste, conservation of biological diversity, management of specially protected natural areas, as well as in the field of analytical control in the field of environmental protection.
Following the meeting, the Belarusian and Russian sides agreed to exchange delegations to study the experience of work in the field of environmental protection and to increase the expert potential of employees in the environmental sector.
