The main areas of activity of the Republican Center for State Environmental Expertise, Training, Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel of the Ministry of Natural Resources are:
- organization and holding of educational events;
- review of materials submitted for state environmental assessment, issuance of opinions;
- provision of services of a cafe, hotel, fitness center, rental of premises;
- provision of consulting services in the field of ecology and translation services.

Founders and government bodies
The founder and government body of the Institution is the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Natural Resources).
The institution is a non-profit organization and carries out its activities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, the Charter and decisions of the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Main areas of activity
The State Educational Institution “Republican Center for State Environmental Expertise, Training, Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel” of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus conducts state environmental expertise, advanced training of executives and specialists in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources, including hydrometeorological activities, environmental certification and environmental audit, conducting state environmental expertise, strategic environmental assessment and environmental impact assessment.
Educational process
The key goal of the educational activities of the Center is the formation and improvement of professional competencies of executives and specialists in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources, necessary in the planning and implementation of economic and other activities.
The educational process is based on the principles of consistency and ensuring a competency-based approach, the use of active teaching methods in the implementation of educational programs. Students are provided with information and technical resources – a computer class, multimedia support for classes. Information and communication technologies are actively used, including training sessions in the webinar format (online).
Training sessions are conducted by experienced practitioners of the Center, subordinate organizations of the Ministry of Natural Resources, committees of natural resources and environmental protection, employees of manufacturing enterprises and organizations of the real sector of the economy, who are highly qualified in the field of their own professional activities and implement a practice-oriented approach to training.
Services of the Center
The Republican Center for State Environmental Expertise, Training, Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel of the Ministry of Natural Resources provides the services of the EcoDom Hotel, the EcoPausa Café and the EcoSport Sports and Recreation Center.
For holding seminars, forums, conferences, negotiations and meetings, the Institution provides for rent modern halls equipped with information and communication means and equipment.
